Groovy Music: Burning Babylon
Magnatune.com has a number of really good reggae dub bands, and this is one of them.

Knives To The Treble by Burning Babylon
Groovy Music: “Rain Trip” by Toni Iniguez
This music is pure, simple, and utterly beautiful.
Groovy Music: The Jackalopes
This is billed as “high energy Horror-Punk Rock and Roll.” I love it, but I have to admit it’s even better if you’re 1) under the influence of alcohol and, 2) listening to it very loud.
Groovy Music: Blue Wave Theory
If you like retro surf music with Dick Dale / “Pulp Fiction” guitars, you will love this group. I know I do. My friend Dan and I used their music a lot on our old Zombie Beach podcast.
Groovy Music: Ott
I’m a huge fan of the group Shpongle, and searching for more music like Shpongle led me to Ott. Now I’m a huge fan of Ott. So much so that I don’t listen to it too often because I never, never want to burn out on it.
Ott music and tour dates can be found at Twisted Music. Or if you’re into Amazon.com you can listen to samples of all his songs at the Amazon Ott Store.
Groovy Music: Lokumu – “A Beautiful Night”
I love this album. I really, really love it. It’s a perfect balance between eclectic and nostalgic. It’s both weird and beautiful. I consider it a completely undiscovered gem.
Of all places, I first discovered it on Second Life. It was playing on one of the music streams in-world, but never announced who it was. I had to track it down by Googling the lyrics. Then I had to track down a place that sold it.
Fortunately Amazon has it for download, as does iTunes.
It was worth searching for.
Groovy Music: Jim’s Big Ego
This is one of the bands I discovered back in the days of Napster, and have loved ever since. And, yes, I ended up buying legit copies of the songs.
